Proposal Engineer - Electrical & E-House Solutions

About the role

Careers International is looking for a senior Proposal Engineer with extensive experience in Electrical Power Distribution Systems and E-House solutions. The role combines techno-commercial work in project estimation, technical support and sales for large-scale electrical projects, covering transformers, busducts, MV panels, UPS, explosion-proof panels and fully containerized or modular E-House solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in pre-tender meetings, site visits and bid/no-bid analyses
• Review RFQ documents, raise technical queries and propose solutions
• Prepare competitive proposals for electrical equipment and E-House solutions
• Coordinate with design, production, supply chain, project management and order management teams
• Validate commercial, technical, legal and pricing terms and conditions in offers
• Prepare spare lists, commissioning spares, training costs and installation supervision costs
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations technically
• Standardize costing tools and offer templates, monitor tender outcomes and maintain the quality management system for estimation
• Mentor estimation team members

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Over 15 years of experience in estimation, proposal and tendering in UAE and international projects
• Experience estimating and awarding high-value projects for clients such as DNO, PDO, ADNOC, OQ, Chevron, ZADCO, Dragon Oil and Kuwait Energy
• Knowledge of E-House, container and modular building solutions

• Electrical power distribution (MV & LV), HVAC, fire alarm and suppression systems
• End-to-end estimation and proposal process management
• Supplier contact management, negotiation and market price analysis
• MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD
