About the role
International Community Schools (ICS) Al Mushrif, a leading American curriculum school in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an enthusiastic and highly qualified Psychology Teacher to join its academic team for Cycle 3 (Grades 9‑12). The role focuses on fostering critical thinking and a deep understanding of human behavior, preparing students for higher education and global citizenship.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a closely related field (Master’s preferred).
- Valid professional teaching license/certification in secondary education with a Psychology endorsement.
- Minimum 2‑3 years of full‑time high‑school Psychology teaching experience, preferably within the American curriculum and AP Psychology.
- Experience in an international school setting, especially in the UAE or Middle East, is highly desirable.
- Willingness to comply with ADEK regulations and complete the teacher licensing process.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Use of interactive whiteboards.
- Digital assessment tools.
- Educational technology integration.
