Public Area Attendant

About the role

As a Public Area Attendant at One&Only One Za’abeel, you will ensure that all public spaces of the resort are immaculate, welcoming and safe for guests. Working in a dynamic, luxury‑hotel environment, you will uphold the brand’s high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms and outdoor spaces, to the highest quality standards.
• Report any defects or maintenance issues immediately and follow up until resolved.
• Replenish guest supplies, cleaning chemicals and equipment, maintaining adequate stock levels.
• Inspect and care for cleaning equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
• Assist with monthly inventories of chemicals, supplies and equipment.
• Handle Lost & Found items according to established procedures.
• Support preventive‑maintenance programmes for public areas.
• Participate in training of new colleagues and attend team events and briefings.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering a spotless environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude toward guests and colleagues.
• Willingness to follow health, safety and hygiene guidelines consistently.
