Public Health Engineer (Technical Manager)

About the role

We are seeking a Public Health Engineer (Technical Manager) to deliver technical system solutions and engineering support across Public Health, Mechanical and HVAC applications. You will help customers identify efficient, value‑engineered solutions for building services and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop system solutions and bespoke designs for Public Health, Mechanical and HVAC projects.
• Identify value‑engineering opportunities and propose alternative specification solutions.
• Provide technical support and product advice to customers.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, method statements and approval submissions.
• Conduct drawing take‑offs and competitor conversion reviews.
• Support project approvals and ensure solutions meet technical and commercial requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Public Health Engineer with some mechanical background.
• Experience with high‑rise building projects is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and technical awareness to lead meetings with contractors and consultancies.
