Public Relation and Social Media Assistant Manager

About the role

The Public Relation and Social Media Assistant Manager will support the creation and execution of Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort’s annual PR and communications strategy, while driving engaging social media content across key platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the resort’s PR strategy, drafting press releases, media alerts and fact sheets.
• Build and maintain relationships with local, regional and international media, journalists and industry contacts.
• Coordinate media stays, interviews, press visits and hosted experiences from invitation to post‑visit follow‑up.
• Monitor media coverage and identify opportunities to raise awareness of the resort’s offerings and sustainability initiatives.
• Plan and execute social media strategies on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
• Manage the daily social media calendar, create and publish copy while preserving the brand’s tone and visual identity.
• Oversee community management, responding to comments and messages promptly.
• Organise photo and video shoots, brief agencies and creators, and approve content.
• Identify, evaluate and manage influencers and brand partners, handling contracts, deliverables and post‑campaign reporting.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Food & Beverage, Rooms, Spa and other departments to develop integrated communication plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public relations and social media, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to craft clear, brand‑aligned messaging.
• Demonstrated ability to build and nurture media and influencer relationships.
• Excellent organisational skills for coordinating events, shoots and campaigns.
