Public Relations Officer – Corporate Licensing

About the role

The Public Relations Officer will join Optasia’s Legal team in Dubai, handling all government and regulatory liaison for the company’s UAE entities. The role focuses on trade license applications, company incorporations, amendments and liquidations, as well as coordinating similar processes across the Group’s international offices.

Key responsibilities

• Process new trade license applications, renewals and cancellations for mainland and free‑zone entities (JAFZA, DMCC, etc.).
• Manage company incorporation, licensing, registration and initial approvals for new UAE entities.
• Oversee liquidation and de‑registration procedures, coordinating with free‑zone authorities and DED.
• Prepare and file MOA/AOA amendments, share transfers, director and shareholder changes.
• Coordinate with local corporate secretarial agents and legal counsel in jurisdictions such as Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia, Malaysia and Mauritius.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of PRO or corporate administration experience in the UAE, covering incorporation, trade‑license processing and liquidation.
• Degree in Law, Business Administration or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Fluency in English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence and ability to travel to Group offices as needed.
