Public Relations Officer (PRO) – Government Relations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to oversee government relations, immigration, labour and licensing matters for multiple entities within the Emirates National Investment Group. The role also provides confidential support for selected personal affairs of the CEO and family.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end visa, immigration, labour, Emirates ID and residency processes for employees across the Group.
• Liaise with UAE government authorities to submit applications, obtain approvals, and handle renewals.
• Oversee trade licence, establishment card, permits and other statutory renewals, ensuring compliance.
• Operate government portals and online systems related to immigration, labour and licensing.
• Coordinate PRO requirements for Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other UAE jurisdictions, including mainland and free‑zone entities.
• Maintain trackers for visas, licences and permits, monitoring expiry dates and informing HR/management of regulatory changes.
• Provide confidential administrative support for the CEO’s private affairs, such as personal visas and residency documentation.
• Record and reconcile all PRO‑related expenses in partnership with Finance.
• Interact with banks, government offices and external organisations for document submission and collection.
• Perform additional PRO and administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of PRO or government‑relations experience in the UAE.
• Proven track record managing PRO requirements for multiple companies or legal entities.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai and Abu Dhabi regulations; exposure to other Emirates and free zones is a plus.
• High level of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism.
