Public Relations Officer (PRO)

About the role

A Dubai-based business services company is looking for an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to handle government transactions, visa processing, licensing procedures and corporate administrative services. The role requires practical knowledge of UAE immigration and labour regulations, government portals and company licensing procedures. The position is full time, with an estimated salary of AED 5,000 to AED 8,000 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Process employment and residence visas, including renewals, cancellations and status changes.
• Coordinate Emirates ID applications, medical fitness tests and residency procedures.
• Handle MOHRE transactions such as work permits, labour contracts and cancellations.
• Liaise with MOHRE, GDRFA Dubai, ICP and other government authorities.
• Manage trade licence renewals, amendments, establishment cards and company formation documents.
• Prepare and submit government applications while checking supporting documents.
• Monitor visa and licence expiry dates and keep accurate records.
• Work with clients and internal departments to resolve application issues on time.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of UAE PRO experience.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Public Relations, Administration or a related field (not confirmed in the ad).
• Fluency in Hindi/Urdu and Arabic.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
• Ability to commute to or relocate to Dubai.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of Dubai immigration, visa processing, labour procedures and business licensing.
• Proficiency in MS Office and online government platforms such as MOHRE, GDRFA Dubai and ICP.
• Strong organization, communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
