Pulmonologist - Urgent Hiring

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is urgently hiring an experienced Pulmonologist to diagnose, treat and manage patients with respiratory and pulmonary conditions. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of respiratory and pulmonary conditions, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia and interstitial lung diseases.
• Evaluate patients with sleep-related breathing disorders and respiratory infections.
• Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests, spirometry and other respiratory investigations.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy where qualified.
• Manage respiratory emergencies and patients needing non-invasive or invasive ventilation.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with intensivists, radiologists, surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients on respiratory health, disease prevention and long-term management.

Required profile

• MBBS or an equivalent internationally recognized primary medical qualification.
• Masters' degree, postgraduate specialist qualification, fellowship or equivalent in Pulmonary Medicine, Respiratory Medicine or a related specialty.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
• Strong experience managing acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
• Experience in bronchoscopy, pulmonary function testing and respiratory critical care is an advantage.
