Purchase Intern

About the role

This internship offers hands-on exposure to purchasing operations, supplier coordination and supply chain processes within a manufacturing environment. It is based in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and support the local purchase process
• Prepare and maintain documentation for local purchases
• Perform system transactions related to procurement activities
• Assist in negotiating terms with local suppliers
• Procure materials needed to support the manufacturing schedule on time
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt of goods
• Support vendor identification and evaluation processes
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and agencies
• Liaise with vendor management to source materials cost-effectively

Required profile

• Final-year student pursuing a degree in Engineering (preferred)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Good organisational and coordination abilities
• A basic understanding of procurement or supply chain processes is an advantage
