Purchase Manager - FMCG

About the role

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing FMCG products for the company across Sharjah and Dubai. You will work closely with sales, warehouse and supplier teams to ensure product availability and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase FMCG products from reliable suppliers, manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors.
• Negotiate prices, discounts, payment terms and other commercial conditions.
• Monitor market prices, competitor pricing and trends to maintain competitive wholesale pricing.
• Manage stock levels to avoid overstocking and stock‑outs, and identify fast‑moving high‑demand items.
• Collaborate with Sales and Warehouse teams to plan purchasing requirements.
• Track product margins, purchasing costs and evaluate supplier performance.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records in the ERP system and prepare regular procurement reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG purchasing or procurement.
• Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Good understanding of FMCG market trends, pricing, margins and product movement.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/procurement systems and a valid UAE driving licence.
