Purchasing Administrator (UAE Local)

About the role

A growing organization in Abu Dhabi is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to manage procurement processes, ensure timely supply of materials and support the smooth running of the business. The role suits Emirati nationals who want to build a career in procurement and supply chain management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the procurement of goods, materials and supplies needed for operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Prepare and maintain purchase orders, supplier agreements and procurement documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast requirements and manage budget allocations.
• Evaluate suppliers on quality, pricing and delivery timelines, and assist in vendor negotiations while maintaining good supplier relationships.
• Track shipments and deliveries, and address discrepancies or delays.
• Support internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Provide regular reports on procurement activities, inventory and supplier performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing or inventory management is an advantage.
• Must be a UAE local eligible to work in Abu Dhabi.
• Strong organizational, time-management and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with a strong commitment to professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management and vendor relations.
