Purchasing Coordinator

About the role

The Purchasing Coordinator supports the Purchasing Supervisor in ensuring smooth operations of the purchasing department, securing quality products at competitive prices while upholding Hilton’s hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requests, conduct market research and price comparisons.
• Liaise with other departments to understand and meet purchasing requirements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate purchasing reports and documentation.
• Coordinate stock requirements to avoid over‑stocking or under‑stocking.
• Respond to purchasing enquiries promptly and courteously.
• Assist the Purchasing Supervisor with day‑to‑day department operations.

• Ability to work with urgency and discipline.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with purchasing and inventory management systems.
