QA Automation Engineer (Playwright + TypeScript)

About the role

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong TypeScript and Playwright experience for a fully remote, long‑term position in the fintech sector. You will contribute to a fast‑moving project focused on modern payment and disbursement workflows, ensuring high quality and reliability of a financial platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs, backend services, and third‑party integrations.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end automated test suites.
• Create automated tests for complex workflows, edge cases, data integrity, and state transitions.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Conduct performance, scalability, and load testing to identify bottlenecks.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues, collaborating with engineering, DevOps, and product teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years of QA automation experience, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Strong verbal English communication and attention to detail.
• Availability to work and collaborate during EST hours.
