QA Engineer

About the role

Join EDGE’s BEACON RED team in Abu Dhabi to ensure delivery of high‑quality, secure and reliable software products. You will design, execute and automate comprehensive test cases, identifying defects early and validating functional and non‑functional requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain and execute functional, regression, integration, API and UI test cases.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using approved frameworks.
• Identify, document, triage and analyse defects, performing root‑cause analysis.
• Participate in planning, backlog grooming and requirement reviews to ensure testability.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
• Conduct smoke, sanity and release validation tests for each deployment.
• Execute performance, load and security test scenarios as required.
• Maintain QA documentation including test plans, reports and regression suites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 5‑7 years of QA/testing experience in software development (Python or Golang).
• ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Hands‑on experience with test management and automation tools.
