QA/QC Civil Engineer – Construction Supervision

About the role

Stantec is seeking an experienced QA/QC Civil Engineer to join its on‑site team in Ras Al Khaimah. You will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the highest quality standards while supporting the overall project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality control plans and procedures for the project.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to guarantee compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses and drive corrective actions for any quality issues.
• Monitor, analyse and report quality performance metrics to senior management.
• Lead quality inspections, ISO audits and ensure adherence to industry regulations.
• Review and approve contractors’ QA/QC procedures, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and method statements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience, preferably on utilities and infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
• Professional certifications in quality management or auditing are preferred.
• Experience working with supervision consultants and knowledge of UAE infrastructure networks.
• Valid driver’s license (preferred).
