Senior Resident Engineer – Roads & Bridges

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer to lead construction supervision for a high‑profile community development project in the UAE. You will manage engineering scope, schedules, and change control while ensuring compliance with local codes and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the construction supervision team for infrastructure works, including roads, bridges, and utilities.
• Coordinate with Dubai authorities and agencies to obtain approvals, manage hand‑overs, and ensure smooth execution.
• Review and approve change orders, monitor progress against schedule and budget, and report updates to project management.
• Maintain Parsons’ contractual rights and obligations, and manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects within the UAE, with recent work on community development projects in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of NOC procedures, commissioning, and Dubai government authority specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
