QA/QC Coordinator & Inspector – Oil & Gas

About the role

Orbit International Survey Services LLC is looking for an experienced QA/QC Coordinator & Inspector to lead quality activities across oil & gas, engineering, marine and industrial projects. The role combines coordination, hands‑on inspection, third‑party inspection support and technical recruitment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate QA/QC activities, inspectors and technical teams; conduct site inspections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, ITPs and client requirements.
• Prepare, review and manage ITPs, PQPs, inspection checklists, NCRs, CAPA and QMS documentation; monitor hold points, witness points and final acceptance.
• Support implementation and maintenance of the company’s QMS, ISO 9001:2015 audits and continuous‑improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, DMAIC, SPC, FMEA and root‑cause analysis.
• Lead third‑party inspection (TPI) activities, inspector mobilization, scheduling and resource allocation; ensure technical records are complete and traceable.
• Handle technical recruitment and manpower planning for QA/QC and inspection personnel, reviewing CVs, conducting interviews and maintaining a qualified talent pool.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong professional experience in QA/QC coordination and hands‑on inspection within oil & gas, engineering, marine or industrial services.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, vendor and third‑party inspection processes, and DNV/ABS requirements.
• Valid UAE driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites locally and internationally.
