QA/QC Engineer – Airport Construction (UAE)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer to join our airport construction project in the United Arab Emirates. The role will oversee the implementation and monitoring of QA/QC processes across all disciplines, ensuring that all works meet project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures in line with the project quality plan.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE authority regulations.
• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals.
• Conduct audits and inspections for civil, architectural, and MEP works.
• Identify, issue, and track Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and manage corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation for audits and project handover.
• Support testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems meet required standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 7–12+ years of QA/QC experience on large‑scale infrastructure or airport projects in the UAE/Middle East.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards, QA/QC procedures, and audit processes.
• Familiarity with international standards (ISO, IEC, NFPA, BS) and UAE regulations.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification is preferred.
