QA/QC Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System for major infrastructure works, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, drawings, specifications, authority regulations and international standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and QA/QC procedures, conduct regular audits and site inspections.
• Coordinate inspection activities, witness material and field testing, review laboratory reports and verify compliance before approval.
• Review and manage Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), Site Observation Reports (SORs) and corrective action plans, ensuring timely closure.
• Control material approvals, maintain quality registers, inspection records and project documentation.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, authorities and testing laboratories on quality matters and support testing, commissioning and handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10–15 years of QA/QC experience on large‑scale roads, utilities, drainage, water and transportation projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements, ISO 9001 and FIDIC contracts.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
