QA/QC Engineer – MEP

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer – MEP is responsible for overseeing all quality documentation and activities across the project. This role ensures that contractor requirements are met, audits are performed, and the quality management system operates effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Control and distribute all company quality documentation.
• Monitor all quality‑related activities on the project.
• Perform internal and external audits on behalf of management.
• Verify that contractor quality requirements are clearly specified to vendors and reflected in submittals.
• Attend pre‑bid meetings and coordinate project requirements with bidders.
• Participate in client quality management meetings.
• Prepare and control project quality system documentation before project start.
• Review qualifications and training needs of quality inspection personnel.
• Monitor disposition of issued non‑conformance reports.
• Track progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate QA/QC activities with site QC and QA/QC procurement managers.
• Handle all quality‑related correspondence with customer representatives.
• Monitor statistical reporting and close customer complaints.
• Control final documentation upon project completion.

Required profile

• Experience conducting internal and external quality audits.
• Ability to manage and distribute quality documentation.
• Familiarity with non‑conformance report handling and corrective actions.
• Proven capability to coordinate QA/QC activities across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of MEP project requirements and contractor interactions.
