QA/QC Engineer – Modular Chiller Plant Projects

About the role

Daikin Europe is looking for a qualified QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality aspects of Modular Chiller Plant (MCP) and Industrial Refrigeration (IR) projects across the Middle East and Africa. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, contractual obligations, and international standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) for MCP and IR projects.
• Develop Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for each assignment.
• Perform risk assessments and compliance audits to identify and mitigate quality hazards.
• Conduct inspections, testing and verification of mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Witness and verify Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and site tests before shipment and installation.
• Issue and manage Inspection Requests, coordinating schedules with subcontractors and third‑party agencies.
• Maintain material traceability and verify supplier documentation.
• Prepare and manage quality records (MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, corrective actions, As‑Built documents).
• Lead root‑cause analysis of non‑conformances and ensure closure of corrective actions.
• Compile the Final Quality Dossier/Manufacturing Data Book for project handover.

Required profile

• Qualified QA/QC Engineer with experience in large‑scale HVAC, chiller or refrigeration projects.
• Familiarity with all project phases: proposals, design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Strong understanding of international technical standards and contractual requirements.
