QC Engineer – Mechanical & Electrical (Oil & Gas)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced QC Engineer to lead quality control activities for mechanical and electrical works on Oil & Gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role requires hands‑on expertise in welding, non‑destructive testing and coating, combined with strong auditing and reporting capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections of mechanical and electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes and standards.
• Conduct welding, NDT (RT, UT, MT, PT) and coating/painting inspections and document findings.
• Support and participate in project quality audits and internal reviews.
• Review inspection reports, maintain QA/QC documentation and track non‑conformities.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with contractors, project teams and stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit regular quality reports to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of QC engineering experience on Oil & Gas projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical or a related engineering discipline.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
• ASNT Level II certification in RT, UT, MT and PT.
• CSWIP 3.1, AWS‑CWI or equivalent certification approved by the company.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
