QHSE Manager – Heavy‑Lift & EPC Projects

About the role

As a QHSE Manager at Combi Lift, you will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems across marine transport, heavy‑lift logistics, EPC project cargo and on‑shore/off‑shore activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and govern an integrated QHSE Management System aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Define QHSE policies, objectives and KPIs that support corporate strategy.
• Oversee QHSE performance across offices, ports, project sites and offshore operations in the MEA region.
• Ensure risk assessments, method statements and HAZID/HAZOP studies are completed for high‑risk activities.
• Monitor compliance with project‑specific, regional and international regulations.
• Promote a safety‑first culture through leadership engagement, training and recognition programmes.
• Deliver QHSE induction and ongoing training for employees, contractors and visitors.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, audits and performance data.
• Prepare QHSE reports for management, clients and regulators.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Identify and apply best practices for continuous improvement in quality, safety and environmental performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related field.
• Recognised QHSE certifications such as NEBOSH International Diploma, IOSH and ISO Lead Auditor (9001, 14001, 45001).
• 8–10 years of QHSE management experience in heavy‑lift logistics, EPC or marine/offshore operations.
• Strong knowledge of ISO management systems and relevant HSE legislation.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities.
