QHSSE Director – Health, Safety, Security, Environment & Quality

About the role

Euro Mechanical is seeking a senior QHSSE Director to lead Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality across its four divisions in Abu Dhabi’s oil and gas sector. Reporting directly to the COO, you will own the integrated QHSSE management system, champion a strong safety culture and act as a change agent linking people, processes and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute HSE, Quality and Security strategy for EPC, Manufacturing, Services and Partner divisions.
• Drive ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification and ensure compliance with ADNOC and Abu Dhabi regulations.
• Oversee incident investigations, risk reviews (HAZOP/HAZID) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan and manage physical and digital asset security.
• Lead, mentor and develop QHSSE teams across the business.
• Report QHSSE performance to the Executive Team and Board.

Required profile

• 15+ years progressive QHSSE experience, preferably in oil and gas EPC or field services.
• Proven Director/VP‑level experience reporting to C‑suite executives.
• Track record delivering ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (essential) and Lead Auditor certification.
• Experience with ADNOC or similar national oil company frameworks is a strong advantage.
• Confident communicator comfortable at field level and in the boardroom.
