Quality Assurance & Excellence Lead

About the role

The Quality Assurance & Excellence Lead will drive the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Integrated Management System (IMS) documents and processes across headquarters and terminal operations. This role ensures alignment with international standards, supports audit readiness, and promotes a culture of risk awareness and operational discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and publish IMS documentation for HQ and terminal sites.
• Standardise and continuously improve business processes, ensuring compliance with approved frameworks.
• Coordinate with departments to define workflow, control checkpoints and performance indicators (KPIs).
• Lead the Internal Quality Audit/Gap Analysis programme, track audit findings and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Prepare the organisation for external audits, certifications and regulatory reviews.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, risk trend analysis and governance advisory.
• Support QHSE functions at terminals to raise awareness of QA and Excellence principles.
• Deliver training on IMS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, lean management and problem‑solving.
• Assist in preparing applications for local, regional and international excellence awards and maturity assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality management systems within a logistics, port or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead internal audits, gap analyses and corrective‑action processes.
• Excellent stakeholder coordination skills across multiple departments and sites.
• Experience in developing training programmes and promoting continuous‑improvement culture.
