Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

Edge is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure product conformity and compliance with applicable quality standards across its manufacturing operations in Abu Dhabi. The role will drive QMS implementation, audits, non‑conformance management and continuous improvement while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes across manufacturing and support functions.
• Monitor compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure continual adherence to ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
• Plan, conduct and support internal, customer and certification audits.
• Manage non‑conformances, concessions, deviations and quality‑related dispositions.
• Lead root‑cause investigations and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support supplier qualification, evaluation, audits and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Develop, review and maintain quality plans, procedures, work instructions and control plans.
• Coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI), process validation and production approval activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Quality, Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of QA experience in aerospace, defence or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and preferably AS9100 requirements.
• Experience with internal, external and process audits and non‑conformance management systems.
• Proven ability to conduct root‑cause analysis and manage CAPA.
