Quality Control Officer

About the role

Matex Construction Chemicals is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Control Officer to ensure that raw materials, in‑process products and finished goods meet the company’s high quality standards. Working closely with Production, Technical and Warehouse teams, you will perform laboratory testing, inspections and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections and laboratory testing on raw materials, in‑process products, and finished goods.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Record, analyze, and report quality control results.
• Investigate non‑conforming products and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain laboratory equipment, testing records, and quality documentation.
• Assist in developing and maintaining quality procedures, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Production, Technical, and Warehouse teams to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and relevant industry regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in quality control, laboratory testing, or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience preparing technical reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
