Quality Engineer – Emirati Talent

About the role

The Quality Engineer will safeguard product quality and promote a strong quality culture within EDGE Group’s HALCON operations in Abu Dhabi. You will develop and implement inspection activities, resolve quality issues, and drive continuous improvement to meet stringent industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement quality standards, control systems, testing procedures and inspection methods in line with industry standards (FAI).
• Initiate and lead Material Review Board (MRB) sessions, develop corrective actions and ensure their execution in the ERP system.
• Monitor First Pass Yield (FPY) and reduce defects, scrap and re‑work through root‑cause analysis and 8D problem‑solving.
• Conduct functional tests on finished products to verify performance, safety and operational integrity.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Review and revise 2D drawings to prepare accurate inspection plans.
• Maintain inspection equipment and measurement tools to required precision and safety standards.
