Quality Inspector – MEP Construction

About the role

The Quality Inspector will implement quality assurance and control processes on Innovo MEP projects, ensuring that all installations meet project specifications, relevant codes, and the established quality plan.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the project quality plan and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
• Carry out quality inspections at critical construction milestones and document findings.
• Raise, track, and close Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), verifying corrective actions and analysing trends to propose preventive measures.
• Maintain comprehensive quality records, inspection checklists, test certificates, and compile close‑out documentation for handover.
• Support internal and client/consultant audits by preparing evidence, tracking findings, and ensuring timely resolution.
• Deliver quality‑awareness training and toolbox talks for site personnel and subcontractors.
• Introduce modern tools and processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and cost‑effectiveness without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 4‑6 years of quality engineering experience in MEP construction.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, project quality plans, ITPs, and MEP quality standards.
• Experience handling MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, method statements, quality checklists, and handover dossiers.
• Understanding of MEP systems, construction sequencing, testing requirements, and consultant inspection processes.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
