Quality Lead – Enterprise Applications

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Lead to own the quality strategy, governance and testing framework for a large‑scale enterprise application ecosystem built on Mendix and hosted on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on embedding quality throughout the delivery lifecycle rather than merely executing test cases.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement QA strategy, quality standards, KPIs and governance across the full SDLC/STLC.
• Design comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, system, regression, performance, security and end‑to‑end testing.
• Drive quality for complex integrations involving 10+ enterprise systems, ensuring end‑to‑end business processes are validated.
• Manage release quality gates, defect triage, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Establish and track QA metrics, dashboards and regular quality status reports for leadership.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in Software QA / Quality Engineering, with proven leadership of QA activities for enterprise‑scale applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, integration testing and API testing.
• Demonstrated ability to define quality gates, manage defects and drive continuous improvement.
