Quality Officer – Lube, Grease & LPG Operations

About the role

The Quality Officer will oversee quality control activities across the lubricant, grease and LPG manufacturing lines, ensuring that raw materials, in‑process products and finished goods meet the company’s stringent quality standards before they are stored, dispatched or delivered to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and perform quality checks during blending, filling and packaging of lubricants, greases, brake fluids, coolants and LPG cylinders.
• Verify that packaging materials, labels, batch numbers and filling dates are accurate and conform to specifications.
• Conduct in‑process inspections and approve test results at various production stages (online, silo, bagging).
• Inspect incoming raw materials, packaging supplies and LPG cylinders for compliance before release to production.
• Randomly audit export dispatches, drums, cartons and pails to detect leaks, damages or non‑conformities.
• Prepare product samples and associated artwork for customer or supplier dispatch.
• Supervise LPG cylinder filling operations, cross‑checking quantities and identifying faulty cylinders for repair or discard.
• Report non‑conformities to supervisors and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Experience in quality control or quality assurance within lubricant, grease or LPG manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with standard QC procedures, sampling techniques and documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, safety data sheets and packaging labels.

Required skills

• Quality inspection and testing methods for lubricants, greases and LPG products.
• Packaging verification and label control.
• Use of measuring equipment for weight, volume and batch verification.
