Quantitative Platform / Infrastructure Engineer Dubai

About the role

A leading systematic equity hedge fund is seeking a Quantitative Platform / Infrastructure Engineer for its growing Dubai team. You will own the infrastructure that supports quantitative research and trading, working closely with researchers to boost scalability, reliability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain the production infrastructure that underpins research and trading systems.
• Modernise data pipelines, databases and environment management to enable faster idea testing and scalable production.
• Collaborate directly with quantitative researchers and investment professionals to resolve performance bottlenecks and improve platform reliability.

Required profile

• Strong Linux and production‑infrastructure experience.
• Proficiency in Python and automation of operational tasks.
• Hands‑on experience with data pipelines, databases and large research datasets.
• Solid background in CI/CD, deployment and environment management.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting ability and systems‑thinking mindset.
