About the role

Hex Trust, which offers regulated institutional digital asset market services, custody and staking, is hiring a Quantitative Trader in Dubai. The role covers proprietary trading strategies and trading infrastructure, requiring someone who can navigate crypto markets and manage trading precisely while supporting the firm's trading objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute client trades with best execution, minimizing market impact and keeping discretion.
• Develop and implement quantitative strategies aligned with client goals and market opportunities.
• Analyze market trends and liquidity to inform proprietary and client trading decisions.
• Assess and manage trading risks in real time for the firm and its clients.
• Create algorithmic trading tools to automate and improve trade execution.
• Use statistical analysis to improve trading models and give clients market insights.
• Ensure all trading complies with regulatory standards and internal compliance policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field with a solid foundation in trading algorithms.
• Proven track record in quantitative trading and client execution in crypto or similar financial markets.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain complex ideas to a diverse audience.
• Exceptional risk management and problem-solving abilities.

Required skills

• Low-level programming languages such as C++ and Rust.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology.
