Quantity Surveyor – Electrical & Instrumentation

About the role

Target Engineering is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor specialized in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) to join its EPC project team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for accurate quantity measurement, cost control and commercial management across large‑scale oil & gas, petrochemical, power and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity take‑offs from IFC drawings, specifications, BOQs and MTOs for power, cable, switchgear, substation and instrumentation items.
• Maintain quantity tracking registers and measurement records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets, prepare forecasts and flag potential overruns.
• Support preparation and validation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and progress valuations.
• Manage variations, claims and subcontract administration to ensure contract compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying for E&I works within EPC projects.
• Strong understanding of oil & gas, petrochemical, power, industrial, marine and infrastructure sectors.
• Proficiency in commercial management software and ERP systems.
