Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure / Building Engineer

About the role

An experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in infrastructure and building construction is sought to join the team in Dubai. The role covers cost estimation, BOQs, tender preparation, contract administration, variations, interim valuations and cost control across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates and tender documentation.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and evaluate construction costs for infrastructure and building projects.
• Manage interim payment applications, subcontractor payments and final accounts.
• Assess variations, claims and additional works and ensure accurate cost reporting.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow and expenditure against approved costs.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and project specifications.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in infrastructure building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQs, cost control, contracts and commercial management.
• UAE construction experience preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant quantity surveying software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
