Site Civil Engineer - Construction Projects Across Dubai

About the role

A growing construction team in Dubai is looking for a Site Civil Engineer to supervise day-to-day site activities across several active construction sites. The role involves working hands-on with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants, keeping work on schedule and to standard, and enforcing health and safety. It is described as a hands-on position, not a desk job.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work progresses on schedule and to the required standard.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants so materials, drawings and manpower arrive when needed.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications and give clear instructions to the site crew.
• Carry out quality checks and site inspections, flagging issues early.
• Keep accurate daily site records such as progress reports and material logs.
• Enforce health and safety standards on site.
• Liaise with Dubai Municipality and other authorities to keep approvals and inspections on track.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 2 years of hands-on UAE civil construction experience.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Dubai Municipality (DM) approval certificate, which is mandatory.
• Solid knowledge of site supervision, construction methods and quality control.
• Nice to have: experience with DM inspections or approvals, familiarity with AutoCAD, strong English report writing; Arabic is a plus.
