Raw Material Planner – Manufacturing/Industrial

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Raw Material Planner to support uninterrupted production at our petrochemical manufacturing facilities. The role focuses on aligning raw material supply with production schedules, demand forecasts, and inventory policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage raw material requirements using production plans, demand forecasts, MRP, inventory levels, safety stock, MOQ and supplier lead times.
• Identify potential shortages, monitor open purchase orders and supplier commitments, and coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely deliveries.
• Optimize inventory by tracking excess, slow‑moving, obsolete and near‑expiry materials.
• Maintain accurate planning parameters and master data in the ERP system.
• Generate regular shortage, availability and inventory reports to support management decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in material planning or MRP, preferably in paint, chemical or manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
