React Developer (Contract)

About the role

A contract React Consultant position based onsite in Dubai, for a duration of 6 to 12 months. The role centres on building enterprise-grade, responsive web applications and modernising legacy applications.

Required profile

• Strong hands-on experience in React.js, Next.js, Node.js, JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Experience developing responsive web applications for desktop, tablet and mobile platforms
• Experience building reusable, component-based interfaces and applying modern front-end architecture patterns
• Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and microservices-based backends
• Experience modernising legacy web applications with minimal business disruption
• Experience with authentication and authorisation (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, SSO) and secure software development (OWASP)
• Experience with Git, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines and automated builds and deployments
• Experience writing unit, integration and end-to-end tests
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams with Product Owners, architects, QA and DevOps engineers
• Familiarity with relational databases and Oracle and MariaDB
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
