Receivable Accountant

About the role

Provident Real Estate is seeking a detail‑oriented Receivable Accountant to own the full receivables cycle for its brokerage. You will issue VAT‑compliant invoices, reconcile payments, and ensure agents receive their commissions on time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue VAT‑compliant invoices for off‑plan, secondary and leasing commissions.
• Follow up on outstanding balances with developers, landlords and clients, and resolve queries quickly.
• Record and allocate receipts (cheques, transfers, online payments) to the correct invoices.
• Prepare bank, customer and developer reconciliations and reconcile the AR sub‑ledger to the GL.
• Produce AR aging reports, collection forecasts and month‑end schedules.
• Handle credit notes, commission adjustments and cancellations.
• Support month‑end, year‑end close and audits, including FTA documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• 2 to 5 years of experience as an Accountant with full ownership of the receivables cycle.
• Mandatory real‑estate experience, preferably within a UAE brokerage or developer.
• Solid knowledge of UAE VAT and invoicing requirements.
• UAE experience is essential.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (XLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations).
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system (Oracle, SAP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally or similar).
