Reception Manager – Japanese Restaurant

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island, the first integrated resort in the UAE slated to open in 2027, is seeking a Reception Manager for its Japanese Restaurant. The role leads the front‑of‑house team, ensuring a polished, personalized arrival experience that meets Wynn and Forbes Travel Guide standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pre‑arrival guest communication, reservations, preferences, special requests and VIP arrangements.
• Oversee reservations, waitlists, walk‑ins and queue management using SevenRooms.
• Coordinate special occasions and VIP experiences with culinary and service teams.
• Lead, schedule, coach and develop the reception team, reinforcing anticipatory, guest‑centric service.
• Conduct daily briefings on reservations, VIPs and service pacing, and capture guest feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience managing reception or front‑of‑house operations in a high‑end restaurant or luxury hospitality setting.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills; additional language (Arabic, Russian, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese or Italian) highly valued.
• Experience in international, multicultural hospitality environments and familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide 5‑Star service standards.
