Reception Manager - Lifestyle Dining

About the role

Sunset Hospitality Group is looking for an experienced Reception Manager to oversee the front-of-house reception and reservations operations for its lifestyle dining concepts SUSHISAMBA and Signor Sassi, which serve an international clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the Reception, Hostess and Reservations team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Manage daily reservations, table allocation, waitlists and seating strategy to maximise covers and revenue.
• Build strong relationships with VIP guests, regular clients and hotel partners.
• Handle guest enquiries, special requests and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Work with Restaurant Managers and Operations to optimise service flow during peak periods.
• Maintain high grooming, service standards and front-of-house presentation.
• Coach, train and develop the reception team.
• Monitor reservation trends, prepare reports and manage the reception team's working schedules.

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within luxury restaurants or lifestyle dining concepts.
• International experience in luxury lifestyle venues is a plus.
• Proven experience managing high-volume operations and leading multicultural teams.
• Excellent communication, guest engagement and service recovery skills.
• Highly organised, commercially aware and positive with a high energy level.
• Fluent in English; Italian, Russian, French or Spanish is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of reservation platforms such as SevenRooms or similar systems.
