Receptionist / Guest Relations Agent

About the role

Join a leading international hospitality group as a Receptionist and Guest Relations Agent, providing warm, personalized service to guests at a luxury hotel in Ras Al Khaimah. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a seamless check‑in and check‑out experience while addressing guest needs throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, and handle room reservations, cancellations, and amendments.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, complaints, and feedback, following up to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist VIP guests and special occasions (anniversaries, birthdays) with tailored services.
• Provide travel arrangements, transportation, tours, and local information as needed.
• Promote hotel facilities, services, and ongoing offers to enhance the guest experience.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and walk‑in inquiries professionally.
• Process payments, billing, and prepare invoices while maintaining accurate guest records in the hotel management system.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0‑2 years of experience in a reception, front office, or guest relations role (preferred but not mandatory).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and handle conflicts with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Cultural sensitivity and, optionally, proficiency in additional languages such as Russian or German.

Required skills

• Familiarity with hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
