Receptionist / Guest Relations Agent

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and proactive Receptionist / Guest Relations Agent to welcome guests, ensure their comfort, and deliver a memorable stay at our luxury hotel in Ras Al‑Khaimah.

Key responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with guests to achieve high satisfaction levels.
• Address guest requests, complaints and feedback promptly and courteously.
• Follow up with guests during their stay to ensure comfort and resolve issues.
• Handle special requests for VIP guests, anniversaries, birthdays and guests with special needs.
• Assist guests with travel arrangements, transportation, tours and local information.
• Promote hotel services, facilities and ongoing offers.
• Greet guests warmly on arrival and manage smooth check‑in and check‑out processes.
• Process room reservations, cancellations, amendments and handle walk‑in inquiries.
• Process payments, billing and prepare invoices.
• Maintain accurate guest records and update the hotel management system.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years experience as a Receptionist, Guest Relations Agent or similar front‑office role (preferred but not mandatory).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑handling abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Customer‑focused attitude with cultural sensitivity.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Additional foreign language skills (e.g., Russian, German) are an asset.
