Receptionist

About the role

Liwa International School in Al Qattara is looking for a receptionist to act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, students and staff. The position is non-teaching, within a whole school setting, and is open only to UAE nationals who are female.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, students and staff.
• Manage the reception area and keep it professional and welcoming.
• Answer, screen and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries.
• Receive, sort and distribute incoming correspondence and deliveries.
• Assist with student, parent and visitor registration and appointments.
• Maintain accurate records, databases and filing systems.
• Provide general administrative and clerical support to school departments.
• Coordinate meeting room bookings and support school events when required.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Required profile

• UAE national (family book required).
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in customer service, reception or administrative roles is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
