Reconciliation & Settlement Officer

About the role

Pay10 UAE is seeking a Reconciliation & Settlement Officer to join its Finance/Operations team. The role ensures accurate and timely reconciliation and settlement of payment transactions across multiple channels, working closely with merchants, banks and payment partners.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliation of payment transactions across internal systems, banks, payment gateways, wallets and other channels.
• Monitor settlement files, ensure transactions are settled within agreed timelines and resolve any exceptions.
• Identify, investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, unmatched transactions and settlement discrepancies.
• Reconcile transaction data against bank statements, processor reports and settlement files.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation and settlement reports.
• Support month‑end closing, financial reporting and audit activities.
• Ensure processes comply with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with process‑improvement and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in reconciliation, settlement, payments operations, banking or fintech.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across Finance, Operations, Technology and external partners.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for handling large transaction datasets.
• Experience with payment gateways.
• Knowledge of card schemes.
• Familiarity with digital wallets and PSPs.
