Reconstructive Surgery Specialist

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Reconstructive Surgery Specialist to restore function and appearance after injuries, burns, congenital conditions and complex surgical procedures. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage conditions requiring reconstructive surgical intervention.
• Perform reconstructive procedures on skin, soft tissues and other affected structures.
• Manage complex wounds, burns, traumatic injuries and post-surgical defects.
• Perform skin grafts, flap reconstruction and tissue repair.
• Treat congenital abnormalities and acquired deformities.
• Evaluate patients, plan individualized treatments and conduct pre-operative assessments.
• Provide post-operative care, monitor recovery and manage surgical complications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MS/DNB in General Surgery followed by MCh/DNB in Plastic Surgery, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
• Experience in reconstructive procedures, wound management, skin grafting and flap surgery.
