Recreation Animator

About the role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Recreation Animator in Sharjah (Al Muntazah Street) as a non-management, full-time position. The role serves as a key resource for recreation activities on the property, such as pools, beach, game rooms, fitness centre and children's activities, and welcomes guests with friendly, professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Inform guests about available recreation facilities and encourage them to take part in activities
• Promote the rules and regulations of the facilities for guest safety and welfare
• Respond to emergencies in line with local operating procedures and assist injured guests until medical help arrives
• Clean and maintain facilities, equipment and supplies, and report accidents and unsafe conditions to the manager
• Provide cashier services and process payments for rental equipment, activity bookings and retail sales
• Assist with private functions and group events, and help guests with disabilities
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance, follow company policies and protect confidential information

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• No related or supervisory experience required
• CPR certification and first aid certification
• Any certification or training required by local and state agencies
