Recreation Attendant – Beach Operations

About the role

The Recreation Attendant will ensure guests enjoy a safe, clean and welcoming beach and pool environment at Jumeirah Saadiyat Island. Working on‑site, you will provide information, set up beach amenities and support the resort’s service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Offer information about the pools, beach and resort facilities to guests.
• Set up and arrange pool and beach areas according to standard operating procedures, including sun loungers, towels, covers and side tables.
• Open and close umbrellas as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Complete closing duties such as storing reusable goods, cleaning equipment, restocking items, securing the area and completing daily checklists.
• Act as an effective link between the kitchen and service areas to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide hands‑on support to chefs and the Assistant Outlet Manager on assigned tasks.

Required profile

• College degree in Culinary Arts or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 0–1 year of experience in kitchen or hospitality environments, preferably within luxury hospitality.
