Recreation Experience Expert / Attendant

About the role

The Recreation Experience Expert / Attendant serves as the primary point of contact for guests wishing to use the hotel’s leisure facilities. Working on‑site at Le Méridien Dubai, you will create a welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment across pools, beach, fitness centre, game‑room and children’s activity areas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information about all recreation facilities and assist guests in selecting suitable activities.
• Encourage, register and schedule guest participation in pool, beach, fitness and entertainment programmes.
• Enforce safety rules, monitor activities and respond to emergencies according to local procedures.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions, process payments for rentals, activities and retail sales.
• Assist with private functions, group events and special activities within the recreation areas.
• Support injured guests until emergency services arrive and report incidents to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities, equipment and supplies; conduct routine inspections.
• Uphold company policies, professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work long shifts standing, walking or sitting for extended periods.
• Capability to assist guests with disabilities and to recognise unsafe situations.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and teamwork mindset.

Required skills

• Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
• Basic computer usage for data entry and information retrieval.
